Our bookshop resides in the beautiful Western Massachusetts town of Southampton, which lies within the Pioneer Valley with a view of Pomeroy Mountain to the West and Mt. Tom to the Northeast. It's also situated between the artistic, vibrant communities of Easthampton and Northampton and the city of Westfield. We’re located in a fabulous brick building on the primary thoroughfare through town, also known as Route 10 or College Highway. It was originally constructed in 1904 as the town library, with exterior white columns and interior oak columns and other interesting architectural features. We sell mostly used books, a smattering of new and an increasing quantity of ephemera. We currently have a collection of about 20,000 books on our shelves with several thousand more waiting to be unboxed, which means we are continuously putting out more. Heritage Books is owned by Bruce Coombs and run by Nicole Goldstein. We have an office at 241 College Highway which is where our sibling business, Heritage Surveys, Inc., also owned by Bruce Coombs, is located.
