Green cloth covers have gilt lettering and border decoration on front and spine, decoration and lettering are bright and not faded. Some bumping and wear on top/bottom of spine and corners. The R and T in Wharton's last name on front cover have some wear in the cloth on the top of those two letters. Rough cut pages. Front hinge is cracked and is back hinge, but contents and covers remain fairly tight. On front endpapers there is darkened area that appears to be from a piece of paper that had left in the book and faded onto paper. A series of sketches about Italy.
