Beige cloth covers are slightly worn on edges and corners. Book contains a printed notecard w/excerpt from book and ordering information, also contains a newspaper clipping on the Ramona Pageant. Author played the role of Father Salvedierra in the Ramona Pageant, c. 1923-1946 - a photograph of the author in this role is the frontispiece of the book and has been SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR. Front endpaper has an inscription to a Miss Moore from Mrs. Friend written in ink. Pages 10 & 11 have a darkish staining to pages - appears that something was held in those pages and the acids stained the paper.
