SIGNED AND INSCRIBED BY AUTHOR. Beige boards w/black cloth spine. Top
and bottom of spine have faded areas from water damage - inside of front
cover, top edge, and front endpaper have small water stain, it continues
as a very minute stain in upper edge near spine until the Table of Contents
page. Bottom edge of book has some faint staining from the black cloth
of spine, does not affect pages of book. Dj is soiled/stained black on
inside of dj, some wear on edges. Illustrated endpapers. True story of
a legal case in Massachusetts involving toxins from a nearby factory polluting
the groundwater and drinking water- turned into a movie starring John
Travolta. This is a second stated printing w/dj quote by John Grisham.
On title page are two inscriptions: top inscription says "To Alan,
You know all too well what it means to try and serve the truth. My very
best to you and your family, 12/4/95 Jim or John - capital J with line
after" , second inscription - "For Alan - Happy Litigating!
