Bottom edge of book has some faint staining from the black cloth of spine, does not affect pages of book. Dj is soiled/stained black on inside of dj, some wear on edges. Illustrated endpapers. True story of a legal case in Massachusetts involving toxins from a nearby factory polluting the groundwater and drinking water- turned into a movie starring John Travolta. This is a second stated printing w/dj quote by John Grisham. On title page are two inscriptions: top inscription says "To Alan, You know all too well what it means to try and serve the truth.
